i-CON TRACE manual welding is finally fully traceable! The Denso industry is currently facing a number of challenges - including the continuous miniaturisation of processed components and the increasing density of components, as well as the growing variability of different assemblies. Traceability in production and accurate documentation of process data are becoming increasingly important in order to maintain the current level of process improvement. Traceability has long been an integral part of the machine welding process. The situation is different when it comes to manual soldering or rework with a manual soldering station. However, as soon as a soldering iron is used, complete documentation of the entire soldering process is no longer possible. For this reason, many electronics manufacturers have abandoned manual soldering altogether or only allow it to be used after special approval. A century after company founder Ernst Sachs filed for the world's only zhuan patent for soldering irons, Ersa has invented a new generation of manual soldering - for the digital age. i-CON TRACE, the IoT-enabled soldering station, combines WLAN, Bluetooth, and other technologies to create a new generation of soldering machines. The i-CON TRACE, an IoT-enabled soldering station with WLAN, Bluetooth and a network card, can be fully integrated into MES-controlled production processes, thus enabling traceability and verification of manual soldering processes.

Precision tools for different tasks

The i-CON VARIO 2 multi-channel soldering and desoldering station allows the user to operate two tools simultaneously. Our product range includes ten soldering and desoldering tools for a wide variety of applications. Our product range includes the trusted i-TOOL series, which offers a wide range of soldering iron tips, followed by the professional i-TOOL AIR'S hot air soldering and desoldering station, and the i-TOOL HP for demanding soldering temperatures. 

Based on the future-proof VARIO platform, we have launched the upgraded and popular i-CON series - the i-CON 1V and i-CON 2V soldering and desoldering stations.

Equipped with an intelligent and dynamic power management system, both stations can additionally run tools such as the SMD desoldering pliers CHIP TOOL VARIO, the desoldering tool X-TOOL VARIO and the new i-TOOL HIGH POWER for more soldering and desoldering needs.
