Screen printing machine with self-control VERSAPRINT 2 is the new generation of screen printing machines from Erse, based on the proven VERSAPRINT series concept. Modern drive technology, together with encoders, allows better control and checking of the positioning process of all relevant axes. The VERSAPRINT 2 introduces modern camera technology for fast scanning and inspection of the printing area and can be integrated with 100 per cent inspection. The new software design, the touch screen and the compact 180° swivelling display stand make the press work more efficiently and space-saving, and the VERSAPRINT 2 with its ‘on-demand functionality’ offers the flexibility to adapt to and meet the customer's needs.

In addition to real-time monitoring of real-time information transfer in the application, it also offers many other functions, such as remote access in the event of emergency services.

Available in four versions, the VERSAPRINT 2 ELITE and VERSAPRINT 2 ELITE plus are suitable for production lines or where 100% inspection is not required, e.g. where the production line is already equipped with an SPI system. 2D or 3D SPI retrofitting is supported by the VERSAPRINT 2 ELITE plus. If 2D or 3D inspection is required from the outset, VERSAPRINT 2 PRO² and VERSAPRINT 2 ULTRA³ will fulfil all requirements.

VERSAPRINT 2 ELITE plus This reliable basic version uses an area camera to align the substrate with the stencil, and can also perform other optional inspection tasks with the area camera. The stencil support can be adjusted without tools to accommodate frame sizes from 450 mm to 740 mm. ELITE plus can be upgraded or retrofitted with all the features of the VERSAPRINT 2 series, including 2D and 3D cameras.

VERSAPRINT 2 PRO² This system features a high-speed 2D LIST (Line Scanning Technology) camera, which is particularly suitable for products with high inspection requirements. It can also be upgraded or retrofitted with all the features of the VERSAPRINT 2 series. 

The VERSAPRINT 2 ULTRA³ ULTRA³ uses the new 3D LIST camera measurement technology. The shape of the smallest solder paste dot has an important influence on the print volume and the shape of the final solder. Is the height of the paste dots uniform or do they drop towards the edges? It combines a screen printer with a 3D SPI. It can also be upgraded or retrofitted with all the features of the VERSAPRINT 2 series.

Towards Industry 4.0: The KURT ESAB Gateway ensures a secure, standardised connection between Erse systems and the outside world.
